Memberships & Associations
The Veatchs are members of the following organizations:
Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA)
Since 1949, the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America has been promoting ethical standards and professionalism in the antiquarian book trade in America. The ABAA has the strictest and most sweeping Ethics Code in the book trade, and all ABAA members are bound by it. The Ethics Code requires that all material offered for sale be authentic, be accurately described, and that a full cash refund, or other mutually agreeable settlement, be available to any purchaser for any item that is not.

International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB)
The International League of Antiquarian Booksellers is an organization that encompasses twenty national associations representing antiquarian booksellers who sell books, manuscripts, prints, and maps in thirty countries around the world. Most associations publish a national directory listing members and their specialties, which is available from them on request. The League speaks for two thousand leading booksellers throughout the world. Its emblem stands for integrity and professionalism in the rare book trade worldwide.

The Ephemera Society of America
The Ephemera Society of America, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed in 1980 to cultivate and encourage interest in ephemera and the history identified with it; to further the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of ephemera by people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of interest; to promote the personal and institutional collection, preservation, exhibition, and research of ephemeral materials; to serve as a link among collectors, dealers, institutions, and scholars; and to contribute to the cultural life of those who have an interest in our heritage as a nation or a people, both nationally and internationally.
