One of 206 copies, printed from the original blocks by Simon Lawrence (renowned for his skill in printing wood blocks). This is the first in a series of five Fleece Press books about Buckland Wright. It displays engravings little known or never editioned. "Girl Undressing," a series of 4 prints, appears here for the first time. A self-taught wood and copper engraver, Buckland Wright established a reputation as a book illustrator first in Brussels (1925-1929), then Paris (1929-1939), and finally England.
