One of 140 numbered copies copies, this one of 125 on Rives. Printed in Mardersteig's new Dante types (roman, italic, and 20 & 30 point initial letters) -- his last and most successful design; this being its first use. It was cut by Charles Malin. Initials in red and blue. The plates are a previously unpublished portrait of Dante and a page from Bocccaccio's manuscript. Schmoller #111, pp 103-4, and illustration on p. 121. Very scarce OB imprint.
