This is partially a census of Northampton area book workers from 1954-2004. Some 80 book artists, bookbinders, calligraphers, designers, illustrators, papermakers, photoengravers, printers, typographers, type foundries, and wood engravers have a paragraph of description each. There's a personal history of the Gehenna Press by David Bourbeau, and a history of the Hampshire Bookshop (1916-1926). Designed by Blumenthal and by Michael Russem of the Kat Ran Press. One of 300 copies with Baskin's engraving printed from the block by Art Larson.
Specially signed by Martin Antonetti, Carol Blinn, Jon Goodman, Michael Russem, Sara Krohn, Bill Streeter.
