Bradbury was an important innovator in two areas of relief printing--nature printing and the color printing of illustrations. Wakeman's text considers both. First he provides a history of Bradbury's activties in nature-printing--the processes, patents, and publications. The section on color printing touches on bank note printing. No. 12 of 20 special copies in quarter leather, with "better" specimens. (There were also 75 copies in quarter cloth.).
