An enjoyable book, "for Readers interested in, but not actually connected with, the art of Printing." The chapter on Errata is especially entertaining. Interesting facts and printers' jokes. Handsomely printed in red and black at the Chiswick Press where Charles Jacobi was foreman.
Staffed by former Doves Press artisans--Douglas B. Cockerell, Peter McLeish, John Mason-- the C.S.A.C. was one of the most important in training fine hand binders. Cobden-Sanderson and Emery Walker were advisors.
