Recipient of this copy has underlined a few sentences in pencil, and penciled a brief note on rear pastedown. Fine copy with laid-in photograph, the prospectus, and two typed letters signed from Norman Strouse. A copy of "A Letter from Stella" (1971) is also included. Item #18086

Copy LXXVof 75, numbered and signed by Leonard Bahr. This copy contains a vellum leaf from Torquato Tasso printed in black & red, and a leaf from the Bible on handmade paper which is of additional interest because it is a proof with dated, marginal corrections in red. Letter from Strouse sending this 'special' copy with vellum leaf. Based on unpublished manuscript material in Strouse's collection, this book shed new light on the controversy between C-S and Walker. It is the magnum opus of the Adagio Press. A Letter from Stella provides additional information about this edition and prints an interesting letter from Stella Cobden-Sanderson to Strouse thanking him for a copy.
