Had you visited this shop, you might have bought a chair designed by Eric Ravilious with upholstery by Enid Marx, and papered your dining room walls with a design by Bawden. The shop promoted pottery & glassware, textiles, paper goods from playing cards to wastepaper baskets, and other "industrial" goods produced by young artists from the Royal College of Art. Its records were destroyed during the war; but Simon Lawrence's research has reconstructed its history. One of 120 special copies.
