Together, the 4 specimen books provide a good view of fine printing and art papers worldwide available in the last half of the 20th century. Andrews/Nelson/Whitehead (late 1960s -1980s?) was the final incarnation of the Japan Paper Company founded in NY in 1901. During WWII its name changed to Stevens-Nelson Company, then to Nelson-Whitehead, and finally to ANW.
