A 1913 wall calendar.

Offenbach, 1913. Color-printed stiff card; oval-shaped, 10 1/2 inches high. The type foundry's name & city is printed as a border surrounding the Three Wise Men or Kings bearing gifts. Beneath the Kings is a large 1913 and names of the months with their zodiac signs. Mounted at the bottom is a thick, daily tear-off page calendar. This calendar is unused and complete. A hole at the top is for hanging the calendar on a hook or nail. Near fine. Item #18994

A rare survival. This Christmas gift to customers and friends of Klingspor foundry has a leaf of advertising between each month. Signed"EE" for Ernst Engel, who headed Klingspors' in-house printing at that time.
