One of a few copies specially bound in cloth; the edition was issued as loose in sheets in paper box. One of 100 copies printed by Robert M. Jones on his hand press. There are 254 impressions, accompanied by Jones' commentary in 18 point Farmer's Old Style Italic. Third book of the press. Bob Jones, a graphic designer, began as a photographer and poster designer, creating posters for the WPA. Moving to NY in the 1950s, he designed for Life magazine and Columbia Records, taught at Cooper Union and UConn. Over the course of his career, he had twenty-one one-man exhibitions and received some 200 awards. Gland Hand was his private press.
