David R. Godine, 1970. 5 1/4 x 8. 8 leaves with 3 delicate hand colored etchings and two wood engravings by Lance Hidy. David'sx notes and drawings from April 1, 2002 to February 2005!-- "almost done," he writes-- describe the evolution of his design. David was not known for his speed. He was renowned for his sensibility and exquisite attention to detail.
